Amigos del Café

Amigos del Café (Coffee Friends) is a guide created thanks to the collaboration between the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Nespresso as part of the “Our coffee – our birds” campaign. This Guide is an educational curriculum for teachers who work in the El Jardín region of ​​Colombia, in the coffee plantation areas.

The idea behind the creation of the Guide is that teachers who work in this area have access to educational materials to teach children about the wide variety of endemic birds of the coffee plantations and the importance of caring for their habitat. The guide has activities, infographics, and teaching resources that help teachers explain the lessons.
